What the models do for you

Not a single chatbot, but several routine tasks that used to take up an evening.

  1. Ask about multiples and company valuation (P/E, ROE, DCF), how ETFs work, the basics of options, crypto, portfolio theory or macroeconomics. The answer appears on screen as the model writes it.

Your portfolio in Claude

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard through which an AI assistant gets tools. InvestHub has its own MCP server: connect it, and Claude can work with your portfolio at your request.

  1. In Claude Code a single line is enough; in the Claude app the server is added as a connector by its address. On the first request an InvestHub page opens, where you sign in to your account and confirm access.

In more detail

Where else AI is at work

Each card leads to a section where a model does a specific job.

An earnings call in two minutes

A call transcript runs to dozens of pages. The summary takes a couple of minutes to read and has the same structure for every company.

  • Management’s tone and a tone score
  • What happened to the guidance: raised, maintained, lowered, withdrawn or given for the first time
  • The main figures named on the call
  • Risks and the topics of analysts’ questions
  • Two quotes from management
  • S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 companies, plus securities from subscribers’ portfolios

A limit without counting messages

The AI analyst has no “so many questions a day” limit. Instead there is a monthly model usage allowance, which depends on the plan.

  • Starter: a basic monthly allowance
  • Premium and Infinite: three times as much
  • Short questions use up the allowance more slowly than long ones

Portfolio: hints without AI

Not everything has to be a neural network. The hints in “My portfolio” work by clear rules, and their conclusions can be checked.

  • ETF overlap and duplicates
  • Concentration in one security or sector
  • Currency skew and idle cash

Which model to choose for yourself

The AI model leaderboard is useful if you are choosing an assistant subscription for work or study.

  • Scores by task category
  • API pricing for each model
  • Which consumer subscription includes the model

Questions about AI and MCP

Brief and without exaggeration

Can the AI analyst see my portfolio?

In the dashboard chat, not yet: the analyst answers general questions about investing and does not read your positions. Claude can work with your portfolio when it is connected through the InvestHub MCP server: it gets the summary, the trades and the results of the data check.

Does the AI give investment recommendations?

No. The analyst explains terms, valuation methods and the logic of instruments, but does not say what to buy or sell. The decisions and the responsibility always remain yours.

Does the analyst know current prices?

No. The chat has no access to real-time quotes, and it says so plainly. Current prices, metrics and financial statements are on the security page and in the screener.

What is MCP and why would I need it?

MCP is an open protocol through which AI assistants connect external tools. With the InvestHub MCP server you do not need to copy figures from the dashboard into a chat: Claude fetches the portfolio data itself when you ask for it.

Which assistants does the MCP server work with?

The server is designed for Claude: Claude Code and the Claude app with connector support. Six tools for working with a portfolio are available at the moment.

How safe is it?

Sign-in follows the OAuth 2.1 standard: you authorize on an InvestHub page, and your password and keys do not reach the chat. The assistant sees only your account and cannot place trades at your broker.
